Dermabrasion is a procedure designed to smoothen the face or just an area of skin. It is basically a controlled surgical sanding of damaged skin using a wire wheel brush that eliminates surface skin to remove superficial scars and reduce the appearance of deeper scars.
Acne is very common and affects most people at some point in their lives. For reasons that we don’t fully understand some people develop severe acne that leads to permanent and sometimes disfiguring scarring.
